We are a guild fighting for freedom from the evil corporation of Omni-Tek. We are men and women from all breeds and professions, united together for friendship and strength. We will help those in need, and all we ask in return is that they pass on kindness onto others.
The Code of Virtue:
Members of the Crimson Cross are expected to live by the Code of Virtue. We will show Compassion on those who are less fortunate then us. We will be honest with our dealings with others. We will Honorably carry out our duties. We will exercise Humility, giving respect to everyone. We will be Just and fair to everyone. We are willing to Sacrifice our fortunes and our lives for our cause. We are a Spiritual Order, bringing good to a world of evil. And we will show Valor on the battlefield.
Note: Omni-Tek employees are fair game, but please keep your dealings with them in a roleplaying fashion. No excessive verbal abuse will be tolerated in this guild.
First: We wish to build friendship and have fun adventuring together in the world of Ruby-Ki.
Second: We wish to help all newcomers get acquainted with the world so that they can quickly help out in the struggle against Omni-Tek. The more skilled and trained people the Clans have the better chance we have of gaining our freedom.
Third: We wish to plan and run many events for the guild. The message board will be the place to find out the events we have planned. Expect anything from guild hunting trips to raids against Omni-Tek to someone’s birthday party.
Fourth: We wish to encourage cooperation with other Rebel guilds and support their efforts. If we can all unite, we stand a good chance of winning our freedom from Omni-Tek.
Initiates: New members will receive the rank of Initiate. Initiates must show devotion to the guild by helping out members as appropriate to their class. Soldiers would be expected to hunt critters with guild members for example. Main Characters’ secondary characters will not be able to progress past this rank.
Full Members: After a period of being an initiate, the guild leaders will be determine whether or not to give full membership, based on the feedback the other members give them. Full members are expected to actively participate with the guild and any guild events.
Patriots: Patriots are members who have been with the guild a long time and have shown leadership skill such as by organizing events.
Elders: Elders have shown that they have a great understanding of the Code of Virtue. These people are the close advisors to the Deacon, and can act in his place. Generally each Elder will have a specific function, such as the Webmaster.
Deacons: The Deacon serves as the guild’s leader. Decisions are made by the Deacon after gathering input from the rest of the guild. The Deacon also serves as the guild’s main ambassador to the Council of Truth and the other Clans. Special positions within the guild are appointed by him/her.
Guild meetings are scheduled for 9pm Eastern time every Sunday night. A meeting log will be posted on the message board for those who missed it and/or want to review it. The logs are usually posted by Monday.
Relationship with the Council of Truth:
The Order of Crimson Cross recognizes Radiman and the Council of Truth as the voice of the Clans. Although we may not always agree 100% with them, we recognize that it is in the best interest of the Clans to be united together and will respect their decisions.
Relationships towards fellow Clannies:
Killing any Clan member outside of the arena is strictly prohibited. The noble men and women who put their lives at risk by guarding our cities should not be harmed in anyway. Any observation of this behavior is considered traitorous and will be harshly dealt with.
Relationship toward Neutrals:
Neutrals are to be treated with respect. Although their loyalties are uncertain, we should show them the benefits of being part of the Clans. Their guards are to be treated with respect as well, and should not be fired upon except in self-defense.
